1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected on caetanosoul.com is Caetano Investments, Unipessoal Lda, NIPC 516920715, Rua das Galés, 13A, Parque das Nações, 1990-612 Lisboa, Portugal, email sales@caetanosoul.com, telephone +351 916 397 501. Caetano Soul Villa is a real estate brand of the Caetano Group.
2. What data we collect
Through the enquiry form and the dossier request form: name, email address, telephone number, the subject of your request, your message, the language of the page and the page address. We do not ask for anything else and the fields marked as required are the minimum needed to answer you.
The web hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, date and time, browser identification) in its server logs for security purposes, for the retention period defined by that provider.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use your data to answer your request, to send you the dossier (brochure and floor plans), to arrange a video call or a visit to the plot, and to carry out the pre-contractual steps you ask for. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request).
Spam prevention and the security of the site rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). We do not use your data for automated decision making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If a purchase goes ahead, the data becomes part of the contractual file and is kept for the statutory periods that apply to that contract.
5. Recipients
Your data is processed by Caetano Investments, Unipessoal Lda and by the web hosting and email provider of the site, acting as processor. When you open the route map, Google Maps is loaded only after you click on it and Google may then set its own cookies. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own terms. These services may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area under the standard contractual clauses of the respective providers.
6. Cookies and local storage
The site does not use its own cookies and does not currently use any analytics or tracking tool. The browser local storage keeps only a flag ("csv-langbar") recording that you closed the language suggestion, which is strictly functional.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Write to sales@caetanosoul.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, cnpd.pt).
